Running this installer will DELETE ALL EXISTING INVISION BOARD DATA!!


BEFORE INSTALLING AND RUNNING
-----------------------------

Before you go any further, please make sure that you have uploaded all the invision board
files, maintaining the file structure as contained in the "upload" directory.

You will need to give the "conf_global.php" file permission to be written to by the installer.
Via FTP, CHMOD to 0666 (or 0777 if in doubt or you get a "permission denied" error).

You may wish to CHMOD the skin/language directory and files before continuing. You can choose to do
this later. Read the "chmod_guide.txt" text for more information on this.

USING THE INSTALLER
-------------------

Using the installer couldn't be simpler. Run it via your web browser (eg: http://www.board.com/forums/sm_install.php)
and follow the on screen instructions. You will need your mySQL information to hand.

Once installed, you may proceed to log in and administrate your board. Access to the Admin CP is via the navigation
bar (you will not see the link until you are logged in).

Please remove the installer script once you are happy that the board has been installed successfully.

If you are converting from another board, please do so now by reading the guides in the appropriate folders
in this zip archive.



That's it, you're good to go!
